Biographical Abstract
Edna Mae Lynch (Campbell) was a graduate of the Claiborne County High School class of 1931. Shortly after graduation, she attended Lincoln Memorial University from September 1931 through May 1933. Though she didn’t complete a degree, she later returned in the summer of 1950 to complete four courses for a teacher certification.
Additional information about Mrs. Edna L. Campbell was provided by her son, George Edward Campbell; she taught within the Claiborne County School system for a time before she later went to the University of Tennessee Dental School and graduated with a dental hygiene degree. During a time from 1960-1961, she also served as President of the TN Dental Hygiene Association.
