B. Frank “Tex” Turner Papers

Abstract

Frank Tex Turner attended Lincoln Memorial University from 1923 until 1926. He was a star athlete; team captain and quarterback for the football team as well as a member of the basketball team. Tex was a generous benefactor. He donating funds in 1990 which created LMU's arena named in his honor. The collection includes correspondences, ephemera, and scrapbooks.
