Frank Tex Turner attended Lincoln Memorial University from 1923 until 1926. He was a star athlete; team captain and quarterback for the football team as well as a member of the basketball team. Tex was a generous benefactor. He donating funds in 1990 which created LMU's arena named in his honor. The collection includes correspondences, ephemera, and scrapbooks.

Edgar A. Holt was a Lincoln Memorial University Alumni who was a professor, chairman, and dean. He served in World War II and Korean Conflict in the Air Force. This collection includes correspondences, service records, publications, and photographs.

Don West (1906-1992) was a was an American writer, poet, educator, trade union organizer, civil-rights activist. He was an alumni of LMU. These papers are correspondences from Don West to various individuals at Lincoln Memorial University.

James Still was a poet, novelist, and folklorist. He was an alumni of Lincoln Memorial University, earning his Bachelor's in 1929. This collection includes publications of his works, biographies, news releeases, and correspondences.
