Alexander A. Arthur Family Papers
Alexander A. Arthur (August 30, 1846 – March 4, 1912) was a businessman and owner of the Four Seasons Hotel which later turned into Lincoln Memorial Unversity. He also founder of Middlesboro, Kentucky and Harrogate, Tennesse. These are materials surrounding him and his family, include family genealogy history, correspondances, letters, and photographs.
Arthur A. Myers Papers
Arthur A. Myers was the co-founder of Lincoln Memorial University. This collection includes letters and articles between the 1896-1924.
Oliver O. Howard Papers
Although a Major General during the American Civil War the collection contains few materials from Howard's service in the conflict. A rather large portion of the collection is devoted to correspondence between Harry Stinson Howard, son of O. O. Howard and LMU President President Robert L. Kincaid.
